Sweater Weather

It's SWEATER WEATHER finally! I think...crossing my fingers and toes...holding my breathe...hoping I don't jinx it because Colorado weather is so unreliable. It is cold one minute and sweltering the next. However, it hasn't been over 70 degrees for a few days now so just maybe...

Let's talk sweaters. I shop a lot at Forever 21 and other comparable places for a lot of things but rarely sweaters. Every now and then I get lucky and find one with a good breathable material that is soft against my skin but most of the time its pretty bad. Investing in basic sweaters in classic shapes and colors is a smart thing to do. Old Navy is a good place to find sweaters that are decent quality in the $20-$30 range but my favorite place to get them is most definitely J. Crew. The possibilities are endless with this camel colored one I snagged on sale. Sweaters can be worn by themselves during the cool (but not freezing) months and can be layered when the temperature really drops. Don't worry, I will share plenty examples of that when the time comes!

Next up, I have to mention this adorable hat. You'll never believe where I found it. Whole Foods. That's right, Whole Foods. I was shocked too.

Sam (the hubs) actually picked out these heels. They were on clearance at Forever 21 last year for around $10 and I got them, knowing I would use them when the weather cooled off again. I usually don't like buying shoes from Forever 21 but these were most definitely worth the price!

Oh, and the lipstick I'm wearing has been my go-to fall lippy for a couple of years now. I highly recommend it!

~Happy Thursday!~
