Yes, October is awesome. There are so many things that come to mind when I think about October; the changing leaves, pumpkin everything, sweaters, scarves, boots, dark lipstick and PINK. Why pink? Because its Breast Cancer Awareness Month. My mother actually passed away from cancer. It was brain cancer, and not breast cancer, but to think that women die from something that can be caught early and hopefully cured (unlike my mother's cancer) breaks my heart. I have many women in my family, as well as close family friends, who fought breast cancer and won. I also know women who lost the fight.
I say all of that to say that raising awareness is crucial. Be smart about what organizations you support and then support away! Do what you can to raise awareness and be sure to STAY SAFE! Be sure you are taking care of your own health, doing self checks and are getting your mammograms...yeah they suck but they save lives people!

Stella & Dot has teamed up with the Noreen Frasier Foundation to offer two amazing bracelets all in the name of awareness, strength and inspiration. All net proceeds from these two bracelets go to the Noreen Frasier Foundation. Get your Strength and Inspire bracelets here and share the opportunity to shop and support with the women in your life. (Bonus: the bands are interchangeable with the charm "bars"!).

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month I thought I would share some peeks of my workspace  and a few pink things that inspire me.

Join me in not only raising awareness, but in prayer and support of the women warriors fighting the battle.

~Happy October!
